Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair 2026
The 43rd Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair (PBAKL 2026) runs from 29 May to 7 June 2026 at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur. The fair features multiple exhibition zones and themed stages: the Main Stage (Aras 2) hosts opening ceremonies, book launches and author talks; the World Book Stage in Dewan Merdeka showcases a wide range of titles from local and international publishers; the World Science Stage in Dewan Tun Razak 3 focuses on scientific and educational publications; and the Plaza Merdeka Stage offers a new open‑air venue for interactive displays. Additional highlights include the Asian Rights Fair (business‑matching for rights sales), a VIP Buyers lounge for streamlined purchasing, a Solopreneur Perbukuan showcase for indie authors, and the MIFLA 3.0 seminar for library professionals. An online platform runs alongside the physical event, allowing virtual participation and sales. The fair aims to promote reading, cultural exchange, and industry networking across the book sector.
