Government Cyber Security Showcase Aotearoa 2027
The Government Cyber Security Showcase Aotearoa is Public Sector Network's annual one-day forum for New Zealand's public sector cyber community, held at Takina Wellington Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wellington. Under the theme "Protecting What Matters - People, Data and Services", the programme brings senior government leaders, policy makers and cyber security specialists together to examine how agencies can embed a security-first culture, invest strategically to modernise and future-proof defences, and apply best-practice maturity assessments across the public service. Sessions combine keynotes, agency case studies and expert panels covering ransomware risk, AI-enabled attacks on operational technology, privacy reform and compliance obligations, identity-led zero trust, and incident prevention and response. Speakers at recent editions included representatives of the National Cyber Security Centre, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner, New Zealand Police, Stats NZ, Inland Revenue, the Ministry for Primary Industries and the New Zealand Qualifications Authority. Registration is free for government delegates; solution providers participate as partners and sponsors.
