Sci-Fi on the Rock 2027
Sci-Fi on the Rock is Newfoundland's premier sci-fi, fantasy, horror, gaming, anime and pop culture convention, held annually in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador since its first event in 2007. The 19th edition runs from 23 to 25 April 2027 at the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland in downtown St. John's, the convention's official host hotel.
The weekend programme includes a vendor hall and artist alley with more than 85 tables of local vendors, artists and community groups, guest panels and workshops, an Excelsior gaming room hosting tabletop and card gaming activities, a costume contest and the Saturday night Hellfire Gala. The convention also runs ambassador guest programmes, a costume contest, a photo waiver for attendees, and offers a special discounted room rate to attendees through its official hotel partner.
Day and weekend passes are sold for adults, children, students, seniors, military personnel and first responders, with family passes covering two adults and two children. Children aged five and under enter free when accompanied by an adult.
