Times Square Kids Run at the United Airlines NYC Half 2027
The Times Square Kids Run at the United Airlines NYC Half gives young runners the chance to stop traffic in Times Square and dash along an exciting course through one of New York City's most iconic locations. Registration is free and open to participants ages 2 to 18 of all abilities. Three stages are offered on race day: Stage 1 (ages 2-11) is an untimed non-competitive short dash starting at 10:00 AM, Stage 2 (ages 8-18) is an untimed 1-mile run starting at 8:25 AM, and Stage 3 (ages 12-18) is a timed and competitive 1-mile race starting at 8:00 AM. Participants receive a New Balance beanie while supplies last, and finishers receive a medal. Official results for the competitive Stage 3 are posted on results.nyrr.org, with awards given out on race day for the top three in the girl, boy and nonbinary categories. The event is part of the United Airlines NYC Half race weekend, with the main 13.1-mile half marathon starting at 7:00 AM the same morning.
