North Carolina Apple Festival 2026
The NC Apple Festival, held Labor Day weekend (Sept 4‑7, 2026) in downtown Hendersonville, celebrates Henderson County’s apple‑growing heritage. Over 250,000 visitors enjoy a parade, live music, contests, and family‑friendly activities. The core exhibit is the showcase of fourteen local apple growers—Rhodes Farm, Owenby’s, Justus Orchards, Rock Ridge, Stepp’s Hillcrest, Piney Mountain, Ottanola, McConnell, Lyda Sons, Creasman, Refreshing Ridge, Apple Mill, Bright Branch, and Twisted Apple—offering fresh apples, apple‑based foods (slushies, fried pies, donuts), and farm experiences such as u‑pick, wagon rides, and corn mazes. Additional categories include arts & crafts vendors, food vendors, non‑profit booths, and entertainers. The festival also promotes an Apple Ambassador Scholarship, sponsorship opportunities, and volunteer programs. AdventHealth serves as the presenting sponsor.
