HomeWelcome to the newest member of our family,The Boston Convention & Exhibition Center is preparing to host the 12th International Philatelic Exhibition of the United States in 2026. Boston 2026 World Exposition will take place in the Seaport area of the city during Memorial Day Week (May 23-30 2026). This event is a major part of the 250th anniversary celebrations of the United States.Boston 2026, in a contiguous area of 352,000 square feet, will host a large dealer's bourse as well as an impressive postal administration bourse and a society presence. A competition exhibition will feature approximately 3,500 frames as well as other special/court-of-honor exhibits and a large literary competition.For this, we will have 40 different meeting rooms. The banquet rooms of the BCEC will be used to stage a large opening ceremony as well as a closing awards dinner. The BCEC is only 15 minutes from Boston Logan Airport, Amtrak South Station and Boston's Logan Airport. It will feature approximately 200 frames with polar displays, exhibits and societies. The Polar Salon will include a Court of Honor, which will feature extraordinary historical polar artifacts as well as archival noncompetitive polar material. Also, a related conference is planned. This will be North America's first Polar Salon.Boston 2026 organizers announce that Jiri Kraus, a well-known polar philatelist and Liberec resident from the Czech Republic (photo above), will make a generous donation of $25,000 to support the Polar Salon.First Boston 2026 Postal IssueHonduras issued the first Boston 2026 stamps on October 12, 2012.
