About the North Carolina Cotton Festival
The North Carolina Cotton Festival (NC Cotton Festival) is a free, annual community street festival held in downtown Dunn, NC, celebrating the region's cotton heritage and agricultural roots. Organized by Discover Dunn, the event fills Cumberland Street with live music on multiple stages, 200-plus arts, crafts, food and retail vendors, and food trucks.
Highlights include a classic car show (the Dunn Shriners' Car Show, 100+ vehicles), an antique tractor display, and guided cotton gin tours explaining how the crop is processed. Admission is free, and the festival runs 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
The 26th annual edition takes place Saturday, November 7, 2026, in historic downtown Dunn, about 40 minutes south of Raleigh via I-95.
