Advice for visitors: Bring a list of your medications, a photo ID, and any questions you want to ask health providers. The Senior Expo is a friendly event for older adults and the people who care for them. For over 30 years, it has been a big health fair where seniors can get free or low-cost services, learn about programs, and enjoy music and food. The 2025 Expo helped more than 1,000 seniors and caregivers. It had over 110 booths with many kinds of help. There were experts from health care, home care, financial services, and community groups. CVS Pharmacy gave flu and COVID shots, and they offered the senior dose for people 65 and older. The day was made for learning, checking health, and having fun.
At the Expo you can get many health screenings. These include blood pressure checks, glaucoma tests, eye exams, hearing tests, and diabetes testing with counseling. There were fitness demonstrations and home safety assessments to help you stay safe at home. Some fun and useful extras were free haircuts, live music, and food. The event had a Caregivers’ Café where family members and helpers could rest, talk, and get information. Admission was low cost to keep it easy for people to come in. The fair also usually offers free parking, so it is simpler to visit with a friend or family member. Exhibitors included travel clubs, residential care options, government programs, and many local nonprofits ready to answer questions.
Tips for a good visit: wear comfortable shoes, and bring water and any insurance cards you have. Come early to avoid long lines for popular screenings and talks. Talk with staff at booths and ask for printed information if you want to read it later. If you are a caregiver, visit the Caregivers’ Café to get support and ideas. If you need vaccines, look for the pharmacy table to ask about flu and COVID shots. The Expo is a place to learn, get checked, and meet people who can help you stay healthy and connected. Plan a relaxed visit and bring someone to help carry items or take notes if that would make the day easier for you.
