Aquaculture Ethiopia 2026
Aquaculture Ethiopia is the dedicated trade exhibition and conference for Ethiopia's aquaculture and inland fisheries sector. The 2026 edition runs from Thursday 29 to Saturday 31 October 2026 at the Addis International Convention Center in Addis Ababa, organised by Prana Events.
Official show information lists opening hours of 11:00-18:00 on Thursday 29 October, 10:00-18:00 on Friday 30 October and 10:00-16:00 on Saturday 31 October (the site's footer quotes 09:00 starts on the Friday and Saturday, so visitors should confirm exact daily hours with the organiser).
The organiser's published figures for the show are around 90 exhibiting companies, three forum and conference tracks, 12 speakers, more than 400 delegates, some 3,600 trade visitors and 14 countries represented, with the exhibition held alongside partner events at the same venue.
Exhibitor profiles cover fish farming systems and pond/hatchery equipment, aquafeed and feed additives, fish health and genetics, water treatment and aeration, processing, cold chain and transport, plus consultancy and finance for commercial fish farming. The visitor profile is made up of aquaculture professionals, fish farming system and transport providers, traders, consultants, trade association delegates, the diplomatic community, government officials and investors.
The conference programme focuses on sustainable aquaculture development in Ethiopia and the wider region, financing and investment in fish farming, and best management practices. Ethiopia relies on inland water bodies such as Lakes Tana, Ziway, Abaya, Chamo and Hawassa for most of its fish supply, and the organiser positions the show as the meeting point for developing the aquaculture sub-sector alongside the country's poultry, livestock and animal-feed exhibitions.
