Stamp & Scrapbook EXPO - Pre-Show Guide (Oct 24-25, 2025).
Advice for visitors: Wear comfortable shoes, bring a small tote or backpack for your purchases, and carry a printed copy of any exhibitor coupons or your tickets. The Stamp & Scrapbook EXPO happens October 24-25, 2025 at Cal Expo in Halls A & B. The show hours are Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Single day admission is $12 for Friday or Saturday whether you buy online or at the door. Children age 12 and under get in free. Parking is expected to be available for about $10 in nearby lots; look for Blue Gate and Lot D to X when you arrive. If you ordered tickets or need to pick up special event passes, Will Call and Registration are open Thursday 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, and Saturday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
The EXPO has many fun activities and classes. There are workshops on Friday and Saturday with fees from $20 and up. Special evening events include Thursday's Mega Make & Take Extravaganza ($59, 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM), Friday's Fright Night Play Date ($44, 8:00 AM - 11:00 PM), and Saturday's Pajama Party Play Date ($39, 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM). You can also buy an All Weekend Crafter Pass for a bundle price if you want to attend more. Visit the workshop guide before you go so you can pick classes that match your skill level and interests.
On the show floor you will find many exhibitors with products, demos, and make & takes. Vendors often send special coupons by email the week of the show, so sign up for the EXPO newsletter to get them. When you enter you may get a free shopping bag, and there are door prizes and other chances to win. If you want to enter the Saturday Scraptacular prize drawing, get to the show early; Scraptacular tickets are handed out starting at 8:00 AM while supplies last. Note the stroller and wheeled bag rules: only small umbrella strollers are allowed on the shopping floor, and rolling tote bags are not permitted in the shopping aisles but are allowed in crop areas and classrooms. There is a free Baggage Check service if you need to leave larger items.
Final tips: arrive early to register and pick up any printed coupons, plan which booths and classes you want to visit, and bring water and snacks if you need them. If you like helping others, look into volunteering — volunteer positions are offered during pre-registration. Most of all, have fun, try new projects, and meet other crafters who love stamping and scrapbooking just like you.
